Course Introduction

The Seerah of Rasulullah (peace be upon him) is essential for every Muslim seeking to strengthen their faith and connection to the Prophet. In this course, we will explore his noble lineage, the environment of his early life, his mission and challenges as a prophet, and the timeless lessons from his life and passing.

By studying the Seerah, we come to know Rasulullah (peace be upon him) intimately, both outwardly and inwardly, enabling us to emulate his example. As Allah reminds us in the Quran, loving and following Rasulullah is a pathway to earning Allah’s love and mercy. This course aims to instill that love by helping us understand the life of the one we strive to follow.

Understanding the Early Life of Rasulullah (PBUH)

Students will gain insight into the lineage, environment, and key events of the early life of Rasulullah (peace be upon him).

Exploring the Mission of Prophethood

Students will explore the challenges, milestones, and achievements of Rasulullah’s life during his prophethood.

Applying Lessons from the Seerah in Daily Life

Students will learn practical ways to emulate the inward and outward qualities of Rasulullah (peace be upon him) in their own lives.

Course Activities

Shaykh Muneeb Johaadien

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, he completed his hifth at age 12 and pursued advanced Islamic studies locally and abroad, including Darul Ulum al Arabiya al Islamia (Strand), Darul Ulum Zakariyya (Johannesburg), and the University of Medina, where he earned a degree in Hadith Sciences. He also studied intensively in Tarim, Yemen, under scholars like Al Habib Umar bin Hafidth, gaining numerous Ijazat. He is the founder of Darul Salaam Hifth School and teaches weekly classes.
